Adam Brown was more than just a friend; he was a beacon of resilience, faith, and bravery. We met in the Navy during Electrical Engineering school and later classed up together in BUD/S training. While an injury ended my path, Adam went on to become a Navy SEAL, embracing every challenge thrown his way with an unwavering spirit. His incredible journey took him to the NSW Development Group, where he carved out an extraordinary career defined by heroism, grit, and selflessness. On his final mission, Adam made the ultimate sacrifice, shielding his teammates with his life. His actions weren’t just a testament to his skill as a SEAL but to his character as a man who lived for others, guided by an unshakeable faith and a commitment to those around him. Adam’s legacy has left an indelible mark on my life. In him, I saw the true meaning of overcoming adversity—not just in battle but in everyday moments of fatherhood, friendship, and faith. His example continues to remind me that strength isn’t just about physical prowess or courage in the field; it’s about the quiet determination to rise after every fall, to lead with compassion, and to stay true to your principles, no matter the cost. Adam’s story inspires me daily to be a better man, father, and friend, carrying forward the values he held dear. I was honored to be invited to speak on the documentary the 700 club did on Adam and the book Fearless about Adam’s life.
