Living in and Competing in Switzerland

Competing in the Inferno in Mürren, Switzerland, was one of the most intense and rewarding experiences of my skiing career. The race, known as the world's longest downhill, is a 14.9-kilometer adrenaline rush that demands every ounce of skill and courage. Navigating the steep, winding course with breathtaking views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau was both thrilling and humbling. The camaraderie among racers was palpable, making the event feel like more than just a competition-it was a celebration of the sport and a nod to its earliest days when the Inferno began in 1928. My time in Mürren was not just about the race; it was about immersing myself in the alpine culture, pushing my limits, and finding a deep connection with the mountains. Living in Morzine-

Avoriaz allowed me to experience the heart of the Portes du Soleil ski area, where I faced the legendary Swiss Wall-one of the most challenging runs in the Alps. The steep, mogul-filled descent tests your technique and nerve, especially when icy conditions add an extra layer of difficulty. Each day on the slopes was an opportunity to sharpen my skills, learn from the best, and soak in the vibrant energy of the ski community. My winter in Interlaken was equally memorable, offering access to some of the most iconic ski resorts like Grindelwald and Winegen. Interlaken's unique blend of Swiss charm and adventure sports culture provided the perfect backdrop for exploring the region's vast terrain. From the tranquil lakes to the towering peaks, every day was an adventure, making these winters some of the most formative and exhilarating periods of my life.
